Athlete Enhancement Program

The Athlete Enhancement Program (AEP) is the elite athlete support program of ASDC aimed at providing high quality, sports science support to emerging high performance athletes in Lethbridge and Southwest Alberta. The program is offered to team and individual sport athletes who have achieved well at a provincial and/or national level.

The Athlete Enhancement Program is intended to provide emerging elite athletes an opportunity to receive non-technical support (including nutrition advice, specific exercise training, mental skills training, etc.) to improve their sport performance. This is a unique opportunity that not all athletes across Alberta receive, therefore, all athletes accepted must have the desire to learn and grow as an athlete and person.

Applications for the fall 2011 phase of the AEP program are now close.

Be sure to be on the look out for the 2012 AEP program. Applications will be accepted starting in the summer of 2012.
